About Jabberwocky
Jabberwocky began as a single studio built from the ground up — and evolved into a creative enrichment company serving schools and families across Montreal.
We take inspiration from Montessori, Waldorf and Reggio Emilia — the respect for the child, the care for the prepared environment, the trust in materials — without claiming to be any of them. Jabberwocky exists to protect and develop the creative instinct in early childhood.
We Believe
Meet Emily
Emily has spent close to a decade building art and sensory programming for young children in Montreal — designing the spaces, choosing the materials, running the sessions, and watching, very closely, what children actually do when nobody hands them a template.
Jabberwocky grew out of that watching. A child given a tray of paint and no example will invent something you would not have thought to ask for. A child given a photo of a finished craft will spend the hour trying to match it, and learn mostly that their own version was wrong.
So Jabberwocky doesn't do identical-result crafts. Emily builds invitations instead: real art materials, prepared environments, and the room for a child to make their own decisions and be taken seriously for them.

Our Mission
Create environments where creativity is trusted.
